The "row-lock-system" has a size limitation regarding the number of lock-able rows. The size is  determined key-combination of the table and the number of selected rows. The limitation differs based on the NetWeaver Version. 

• NetWeaver 7.50 and earlier: 32 KB
• NetWeaver 7.51 and later: 1 MB

Exceeding the limit will simple ignore the row-lock-system for the selection. All other functions are not affected. 

Official SAP restrictions:

NetWeaver 7.50 and earlier: Incoming and outgoing messages are limited to 64 KB. Messages sent via system-wide access (i.e., using the connection attach handle) or AMC are limited to 31 KB.

NetWeaver 7.51 and later: Incoming messages are limited to 100 MB (this limit is configurable via profile parameter); there is no size limit for outgoing messages. Messages sent via system-wide access (i.e. using the connection attach handle) or AMC are limited to 1 MB.

MAJOR FEATURES

• [#411] Custom Buttons: A custom button can be added with the BADI to context menu or top menu. Via this button you can add custom functionality on backend or frontend. For example, users could execute or check the status of a process chain at the touch of a button. Furthermore, user can differentiate whether all data or only the selected rows should be affected. After the execution, messages can be also sent back to the user.
• [#417] Analysis Authorizations of InfoObjects are now considered. NextTables will automatically create variables for all authorization relevant fields.
• [#443] Aliases for tables are introduced, allowing to use the same table in multiple scenarios. For example, you can build a scenario where master data of a Company Code InfoObject should be filled by two different departments. One department may only change the Country field and the other department may only change the Person Responsible field.
• [#445] Import of Excel files has been reimplemented on the backend. The new implementation results in major performance improvement when importing excel files. MAJOR FEATURES
